The atenteben bamboo flute originates from the Kwahu mountains here in Ghana and was mainly played at funerals.

Today, amazing neo-traditional groups incorporate this flute into their repertoire with a lot of success.

These instruments are completely hand-made by our bamboo flute makers here in Ghana.
