This African conga drum is called kpanlogo-djembe here in Ghana: It is a modern mix of the traditional kpanlogo and djembe drums. It has a height of approx. 24 - 25 inches and a 10"-face.

The drum is hand-carved out of a solid piece of tweneboa wood, just like the kpanlogo. A goat skin is mounted onto the shell with the same rope-tuning system as the one of the djembe.

The body is beautified with carved patterns, animals or traditional Adinkra symbols. The wood is nourrished and protected with oils.
